Our Mission - "From Opportunity to Success"
The Associated Colleges of Illinois is a network of nonprofit liberal arts based colleges and universities that work with business and community leaders to:
- improve educational opportunities for first-generation, low-income, and minority students
- support college and university leadership
- increase the awareness of the value provided by member colleges and universities.
The Associated Colleges of Illinois convenes member colleges, school systems, businesses, foundations, and youth-service agencies in productive partnerships that produce valuable social and economic benefits. ACI partnerships offer businesses and foundations a rare opportunity to lend their expertise and support to solving society’s most challenging problems, while gaining access to 22 institutions of higher education with 59,000 students, 10,000 faculty and staff, and a combined purchasing power of over $1.3 billion.
The Associated Colleges of Illinois is a not-for-profit corporation exempt under section 501 (c)(3) and 509 (a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax deductible as provided by law.
