Summer Institute for Educators
ACI’s Summer Institute for Educators is designed to culminate a year of ACI’s Teacher Induction Academy professional development sessions with a more intensive, whole day experience. The Institute is held annually during the third week in June and is held on an ACI college or partner campus. Presentations, keynotes and skill-building workshops focus on teaching diverse students with varying learning styles in high-need schools. Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to network with dedicated professionals from across the state – in a relaxed setting that promotes collegial interaction.
Who can attend: ACI’s Summer Institute for Educators is open to beginning teachers (years one through four in the classroom) from throughout Illinois, with a special emphasis on those teaching in high-need schools. Student teachers and pre-service students (junior and senior level) who plan to teach in a high-need school are also invited to attend. Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
