Teacher Induction Academy

High-need schools present special challenges, so the Associated Colleges of Illinois' Teacher Induction Academy helps new and experienced teachers get off on the right foot. Designed for all teachers, pre-service and alternative certification candidates, ACI's Teacher Induction Academy combines small group mentoring, workshops and panel discussions in a variety of sessions – and all absolutely free.

The Academy explores a variety of topics and offers separate tracks geared to the needs of teachers at varying points in their careers. Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged in order to gain the deepest understanding of the topics being covered and to acquire the greatest variety of new techniques, knowledge, and strategies. Certified teachers can earn CPDU credits for each session of ACI's Teacher Induction Academy attended depending on the session timeframe.
