The Associated Colleges of Illinois (ACI) is a group of 23 private colleges and universities, rooted in the liberal arts tradition, that leverages the expertise of our statewide network to provide underserved students with new educational opportunities.

By engaging college, business and community leaders in ongoing research and dialogue, ACI has identified three critical avenues through which our member colleges can most successfully impact the continuum of K-16 education:

	Enhancing teaching and learning in K-12 schools serving our neediest students.
	Raising graduation and college entrance rates among at-risk high school students.
	Improving the chances of college success for first-generation, low-income, and minority students.
